Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Executive at Bombay Sweet Shop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the products meet the highest quality standards and are safe for consumption. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of sweets and confectionery products produced and sold by the Bombay Sweet Shop. You will ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This role will report to the Product Development & Commercialization Manager and will be based out of Bombay Sweet Shop, Byculla.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
- Conduct sensory evaluations of finished sweet products for taste, texture, and aroma.
- Enforce hygiene and sanitation practices in the production area.
- Stay updated on food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of quality tests, inspections, and non-conformities.
- Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and ingredients.
- Train and educate employees on quality control and food safety.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
- Analyze customer feedback and quality data for product enhancements.
Requirements: Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control standards, Food safety & quality management system, HACCP, FSSC.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality products.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role in the food industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
