N O T I F I C A T I O N

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up post of Junior Research Fellow on contract basis for the SERB funded project entitled “Comprehensive and Multi-modal assessment of motor plasticity in focal epilepsy and its role in pre-surgical evaluation of Drug Resistant Epilepsy” under Dr. Ajay Asranna, Associate Professor and Principal Investigator, Department of Neurology.

Educational Qualification:

• BE/B Tech/M Tech (Medical electronics/Biomedical Biotechnology).
• M.Sc in Life Sciences. (Genetics/Biochemistry/Zoology/Biotechnology/MolecularBiology/Neurosciences or related subjects) NET/GATE/ other national level exam qualified candidate.

Desirable Experience:

• Bio signal processing/Biomedical Image processing
• Data Science and experience with post processing of neuroimaging
• Experience in Computer Data Entry Commitment for at least One year

Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for patient recruitment, Follow-up of patients, blood Sample collection and transportation to the lab, Care of project equipments, Coordination with the concerned departments, data entry, post-processing and analysis of neuroimaging data.

Age limit: 35 years

Emoluments: Rs.31000/- + 24% HRA (Rs.7440/-) Per Month

Duration of the post: Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which can be extended up to a maximum period of three years depending upon the performance of the candidate.

The final appointment of candidates will be decided based on his/her merit and performance in the written and/or skill test. Only the short listed candidates will be called for written and/or interview.
