Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, invites applications for the following positions for the ICMR-funded research project titled “One-health approaches to understand the burden and threat of zoonotic tuberculosis, melioidosis and glanders in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Haryana states” at the Center for Emerging and Tropical Diseases (CETD), Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.
Junior Research Fellow (1 Post)
Eligibility: Post Graduate degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Cell Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Bioscience or related)
Desirable: Candidates proficient in molecular biology, bacterial culture work & computational biology and with consistently good academic record. CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualified candidates, and candidates with research experience and/or publication in the related area or any other infectious diseases will be given preference.
Other benefit: Selected candidates may be entitled to register for the Ph.D. program of the MAHE (subject to an assessment and fulfilling the eligibility criteria).

Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/ month
