CALL FOR RESEARCH STAFF (Project Assistant) POSITION
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Project Assistant in a time bound research project sponsored by the SERB (F. No. SPG/2022000330) for a temporary period purely on contractual basis as per the following details:
Position: Project Assistant
Number of Vacancies: 01
Project Title: Repurposing the endogenous CRISPR-Cas system as an anti-Salmonella strategy
Funding Agency: Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Sandhya Amol Marathe, Department of Biological Sciences (PI)
Project Tenure: 3 Years
Job Description: Microbiological and molecular biological analysis
Qualification: B. Sc. (Microbiology, Zoology) / B. tech. / equivalent degree. Candidates with hands-on experience in microbiology & molecular biology will be given precedence.
Upper Age Limit: Age not exceeding 30 years as of the date of the interview. Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/WOMEN candidates.
Fellowship: 20,000 + 8% HRA
Registration for PhD: NA
