Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) in a time-bound research project for a temporary period, purely on a contractual basis as per the following details:
Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical)
Number of Vacancy: One (01)
Project Title: Expansion of the fluoroquinolone derivatives: Design, synthesis and antimicrobial activity of various norfloxacin-pyrazole conjugates against fluoroquinolone-resistant Bacterial Pathogens
Department: Department of Microbiology
Project Tenure: Temporary; co-terminated with the termination of the research project
Job Description: Wet-lab experiment
Qualification: First-class post-graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees/ Second-class post-graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD/for engineering/IT? CS-First class Graduate degree of four years. (For details please refer to letter no. 16/29/2023-Admin/E.Office No. 157401 dated 30.06.2023; annexure-I by ICMR, Gov of India). It is desirable that the candidate should have research experience in the field of chemical synthesis and antimicrobial assessments.
Age Limit: 35 years
Age Relaxation: The Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped
candidates.Fellowship: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) – Rs. 56,000/- pm + 27% HRA
