We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated scientific writer to join our commercial excellence team. The job can be based in our office in
Bangaluru or remote anywhere in India.As a Scientific Writer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scientific-based content that supports our flow cytometry portfolio commercialization. As part of your role, you will work closely with product managers, application scientists and R&D on the flow cytometry business unit.
In this role, you´ll be responsible for:
- Develop high-quality written material (manuscripts, web content, posters, brochures, flyers, etc.) to support the product portfolio.
- Reviews and evaluates scientific data and technical documents to develop written material.
- Assists the marketing team in conducting content-need analysis.
- Provide informal guidance and support to new team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Ensures compliance with quality processes and requirements for assigned documents. Provides input on and independently develops best practices, methods and techniques for achieving optimal results.
- Review scientific content and offer constructive feedback, drawing upon your knowledge and expertise in biological sciences.
- Interact with cross-functional teams and customers at multiple locations globally.
The required qualifications for the job include:
- PhD in Biological Sciences, immunology, or a related discipline with 3+ years of experience with flow cytometry. A strong background in complex flow cytometry is desired.
- 2+ years’ experience in content creation in an industry setting. Experience in a regulated environment desired
- Proficiency in English written communication skills, with publication experience as first author.
- Creative thinker with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
