Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the following position
Name of position: Junior Research Fellow (01 position)
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Punit Prasad
Project: Role of SMARCD isoforms, auxiliary subunits of human SWI/SNF complex in monocyte/macrophage immune response (Funded by DST-SERB)
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- +16% HRA
Eligibility & Selection
Applicants must have an M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Microbiology, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC). Candidates should have also qualified NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE/GPAT/BET. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in cell culture or molecular biology techniques. This project may lead to a Ph.D. in the future.
Age Limit
The candidate should be below 28 years of age as of
06.12.2023. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the Government of India rules.Selection Process
The selection process will involve application screening, followed by an interview process conducted in Hybrid mode.
