Project title: Functional inter-connection between WISH and cell-wall biosynthesis / remodeling pathway in rice blast fungus
Tenure: The project is tenable up to 24.01.2025 and the position is coterminous with the project (subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds)

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Plant Biotechnology/Botany/Plant Pathology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University and must have valid UGC/CSIR-NET (JRF/LS)
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having working experience relevant to the project. The student should have an experience in DNA and RNA isolation, protein expression and purification, PCR, cloning, Western blotting, handling microbial cultures, microscopy, and basic Bioinformatics. Sound knowledge of MS Office and other basic computer operations is highly desirable.
