Syngene International Limited is looking for Mammalian Cell Culture Scientists to join Syngene Amgen R&D Center (SARC).
Designation: Associate Scientist/Senior Associate Scientist
Location: Bangalore
Note: CRO industry experience is a must. Candidates with only a Master’s degree will be considered. Freshers/Ph.D/Bachelors candidates are not relevant for this position.
Required Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience with mammalian cell culture technologies and theory.
- Experience in stable and transient transfection for recombinant protein/antibody expression is a must. Should have worked with and maintained a variety of mammalian cell lines, such as CHO, HEK etc. Well-versed with aseptic techniques required to work in a cell culture laboratory.
- Perform adherent and suspension cell culture, support upstream process development and process characterization activities.
- Should have experience working with Wave bioreactors and good knowledge of feed optimisation.
Qualification: M.Tech with 3-9 years or M.Sc with 6 to 12 years.

- Answer: In one project, I faced contamination issues in a mammalian cell culture. I immediately implemented rigorous aseptic techniques, identified the source of contamination, and thoroughly cleaned the equipment and lab environment. I also established stricter quality control measures to prevent future occurrences and successfully recovered the cell culture.
