About the role

ICON is currently seeking a Sr Analyst to join our HE team based in Bangalore.

We are looking for someone with experience (1 -3 years) in Health Economics developing health economic models, evidence synthesis, including systematic and targeted literature reviews and network meta-analyses/indirect comparisons.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent as relevant, Master’s degree preferred with life science background
  • A demonstrable experience in HE (economic modelling / literature reviews and evidence synthesis)
  • Experience / familiarity with one or more of the following statistical packages (R, STATA, SAS, WinBUGs).
  • Demonstrable project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A strong desire to mentor and grow the expertise within the group.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team with a high degree of self-motivation
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within a consulting, academic or pharmaceutical/ devices industry environment

I also utilized R to create visualizations and generate statistical outputs for economic modeling purposes.
  4. How do you approach project management in the context of health economics research? Can you provide an example of a project you successfully managed?
    • Answer: Project management is crucial in health economics research to ensure timely delivery and coordination of tasks. In a recent project, I developed a detailed project plan with defined milestones and allocated resources accordingly. I regularly communicated with team members, tracked progress, and addressed any challenges or risks that arose. Through effective project management, we were able to complete the project within the given timeline and produce high-quality deliverables.
  5. Can you discuss your experience working in a consulting, academic, or pharmaceutical/devices industry environment? How did your previous experience contribute to your skills as a research associate in health economics?
    • Answer: I have worked in a consulting environment where I collaborated with cross-functional teams and engaged with clients to provide health economic insights.
