WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS ON PART TIME CONTRACTUAL BASIS FOR THE SESSION 2023-24

TGTs

Essential:

1. Four years of Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50 % marks in aggregate;
   OR
   Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The elective subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects are as under:
   a) TGT(English): English as a subject in all three years at Graduation Level.
   b) TGT(Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all three years at Graduation Level.
   c) TGT (Maths): Maths as a subject in all three years with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science and Statistics.
   d) TGT (Science): Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry as a subject in all three years.
2. Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
3. Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.
4. B. Ed. Or equivalent degree from a recognized University.

Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

Relaxation of B. Ed qualification: In the case of TGT, B Sc with 60% marks and BA with 55% marks may be considered for appointment on a part-time contractual basis if suitable candidates with B.Ed are not available.

Relaxation in CTET – In absence of a suitable CTET-qualified candidate, the candidate without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.

PGTs

Essential:

1. Two years of Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
   OR
   Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following
   subjects:
   a) PGT(Biology) Post Graduation in Botany & Zoology
   b) PGT (Hindi) – Post Graduation in Hindi.
   c) PGT (Economics) – Post Graduation in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
   d) PGT (Political Science) – Post Graduation in Political Science
   e) PGT(Commerce): Post Graduation in accountancy with Business Studies as a main paper
2. B. Ed. Or equivalent degree from a recognized University
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium

Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

Relaxation of B. Ed qualification:  Post Graduates with 60% marks in Science subjects and 55% in Humanities subjects may be considered for the posts of PGTs if suitable candidates with B.Ed are not available.

In order to empanel teachers for appointment on a Part-time-contractual basis for the session 2023-24, walk-in-interview for the posts of PGT (Biology, Hindi, Economics, Political Science and Commerce), TGT (English, Hindi, Maths & Science), PRT, Balvatika Teachers, Computer Instructor, Sports Coach,Yoga Instructor, Art & Craft Teacher, Assamese Language Teacher, Counselor & Nurse will be held at KV Tezpur No.IV,Tezpur University.

REPORTING TIME FOR INTERVIEW: 9:00 AM

Original testimonials/experience certificates along with a separate set of photocopies of certificates and one recent passport-size coloured photograph are to be brought for interview.
