Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned Grant-in-Aid and industry-sponsored projects in the area of environmental monitoring & impact assessment. The number of positions is tentative and may vary at the time of the interview.
Post I
Name of Post – Project Associate-I
No. of Posts – 05
Age Limit – 35 years*
*Relaxation in age as per norms
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Environmental Science/ Botany/Zoology/ Medical Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry (or) B.E. Biotechnology
Desirable: Experience in analysing water/wastewater, marine ecological parameters, environmental impact assessment study, ecological modelling and knowledge in ISO 17025: 2017 standards. As a part of the project, extensive fieldwork may be required.
Monthly remuneration:
- ₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (OR) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
- ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above.
Post II
Name of Post – Field Assistant
No. of Posts – 02
Age Limit – 50 years*
*Relaxation in age as per norms
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology
Desirable: Adequate basic computer knowledge and experience in account/record keeping. As a part of the project, extensive fieldwork may be required.
Monthly remuneration: ₹20,000/- + HRA
