Name of the Post – Quality Control Officer
Location – Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Job Overview:
Sea6 Energy is looking for a candidate with the ability to execute and manage the QA/QC activities. The job will involve:
- Carrying out an analysis involving spectrophotometry and chromatographic techniques, for example, HPLC, IC, FTIR, estimation of chemical components of a complex mixture, liquid-liquid extraction, solid-liquid extraction, etc.
- Grow plant seedlings in a controlled condition and measure the plant’s physiological parameters.
- Experimentation to isolate DNA / RNA from the plant material and run PCR / RT-PCR.
- Analysis of data generated from these experiments.
- Method development for analysis of the new product components
- Coordinate analysis with third-party laboratories providing services such as mass spectrometry, ICP-OES etc.
- Write regular reports and log sheets on quality parameters.
The job will provide an opportunity to gain experience in working with a multi-disciplinary R&D team and factory team on exciting and innovative projects to develop cutting products for the Agriculture, Animal feed, and Food additive industries
Education: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Agriculture with 3-4 years of experience or PhD with 1-2 years of experience. Candidates with an Agriculture background will be preferred.
Salary: Commensurate with market standards and experience
