Maximize the company’s commercial success within a given geographical territory by specializing in Biology based products that emphasize PKI’s Informatics capabilities. Work with the regional marketing team in the territory to promote world-class products and by packaging, positioning and promoting those products through our Field Sales organization to increase our market share.
Duties:
- Execute custom/highly configured software demonstrations in support of pre-sales activity utilizing our portfolio in data acquisition and data analytics.
- Collaborate with all Field Team members to develop and deploy world-class systems and tools and provide front-line support to sales as the product specialist in the responsible region
- Execute pre-sales pilots, workshops, and evaluations for the product area
- Supplemental support of canned demonstrations as required in the territory
- Provide RFI/RFP support for product area
- Deliver product training to the field (marketing & sales) as new features/functionality is available for designated product and domain speciality
- Coordinate with Marketing Communications organization to develop and participate in marketing campaign design and execution as needed
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Biology/ Biotech
- Substantial use of computers & scientific applications required
- Experience with PerkinElmer Informatics suite of products and solutions is highly desirable
- Experience in using ELN and/or Data Analytics solutions, or in a pharmaceutical company implementing informatics solutions is preferred
- Experience with the Biotech industry/ Research is mandatory.
- Some travel required
- Punctual, meticulous, reliable and courteous manners with the public
