Online Interview
An Online Interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on a contract basis) for a Research Project in the School of Biotechnology, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 30.01.2023.
Duration of Engagement: 03 Months 21 Days (on a contract basis) and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund.
Name of the sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India.
Name of Project: ” Cathepsin-S as a novel direct drug target for preventing barrier and tissue destructive proinflammatory IL- 1 beta signaling in primary, vascular endothelium an in vitro study”
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, with a Valid GATE/NET score.
Age limit: 28 Years as of 27.01.2022 (relaxation based on GOI rules)
Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) per month (consolidated)
How to Apply:

The self-attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form. The interview will be conducted online and the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents and photographs submitted.

- Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer if selected for the interview.
