Interview for Project-JRF positions
Title of Project – Nanogel-mediated Gene Editing (CRISPR/Cas9) Technologies to Improve Crop Protection against Bacterial Leaf Blight in Rice.
Duration – Initially for one year, and can be extended on annual basis.

Essential Qualifications: MSc/MTech in Life Sciences / Biotechnology /Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Genomics/ Agriculture/ Animal/ Chemistry/Pharmacy or any other any related subject, and National level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE, etc. qualified.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, protein isolation, purification and Co-IP, Confocal microscopy, gene editing techniques, mammalian cell culture, and chemical synthesis. A candidate who has 1-year research experience working in a relevant area with expertise will be preferred. Candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
