Interested eligible candidates are requested to send their CVs with a motivation letter to participate in the selection process for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DST-Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India funded project.

How to Apply –
- Candidates are requested to send their CV and motivation letter (compulsory) to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] with the subject line “Application for the post of JRF” before 12th December 2022. The CV must include the mail id and working phone number.
- Candidates are also advised to send the scan copy of certificates, grade card/mark sheets, publications (if any), photo-identity proof etc. as a single pdf file with the application.
- Complete details of NET/GATE such as year of passing/validity, discipline, marks, All India Rank, and others that appeared should also be mentioned in the CV.
- The interview will be held in offline mode only.
- The candidates would be shortlisted for interview based upon their academic and professional background and intimated through email by 13th December 2022.
- Short-listed candidates should send a copy of the original certificate/testimonials through the mail by 15th December 2022.
- The candidates should carry the original certificate/testimonials at the time of the
interview. - The interview would be held offline on 20th December 2022, 10 AM onwards at the Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
- The post is purely temporary in nature and subject to the availability of funds and yearly research progress.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Short listing process for Interview – The candidates would be shortlisted for interview based upon their academic, and professional background and motivation letter. Applicants will be selected based on an interview taken by the committee. The recommendations of the committee will be final.
Interview Date – 20th December 2022, 10 AM onwards at the Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
Fellowship/month –
- Rs. 31,000/- per month +16% HRA (for candidates with GATE/ NET or similar other national level ranking certificate).
- For other candidates Rs. 25,000/- per month +16% HRA.
Eligibility – Post-graduate degree (MSc./ M. Tech./ M.S.) in Bioinformatics /Biotechnology /Pharmacy/Medicinal Chemistry/Life Science/Mathematics/Physics/ Computer Science or correlated disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable –
- GATE/NET qualified
- Experience in Molecular modelling and MD simulations
- Experience in Coding and Linux
