Candidates are invited to appear before the selection committee in the walk-in-interview for filling up the purely temporary position in the scheme of the “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under the supervision of Dr. Pinky Agarwal, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:

Upper age limit – 35 years.
How to Apply –
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is completely on a temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and the discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate for
the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated at any time by giving a month’s notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.Eligible candidates may appear for the walk-in interview on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Candidates must submit copies of all certificates (class 10th onwards) at the time of the interview, along with their CV in the attached format only.
All candidates must ascertain their eligibility before appearing, as any ineligible candidature will be rejected.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.

Qualification –
Candidates having an M. Sc. Degree (with minimum 60% marks) in bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ botany/ Life Sciences/Plant Molecular Biology or equivalent, and as per DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020, are eligible to attend a walk-in-interview. Candidates with prior work experience in the laboratory with plant molecular biology, biochemistry and/or bioinformatics will be preferred.
