Profile Summary – The fodder development team of the Animal Nutrition department is looking for a trainee for fodder production and conservation and Moringa seed production.
Key Roles & Responsibility –
- Execution of fodder farm activities
- Development of moringa orchard for seed production
- Planning and execution of farm activities
- Management of labour and land development.
Qualification & Experience –
- Diploma in Agriculture or B.Sc. Agriculture from a reputed institute
- Candidates having experience working in a reputed fodder farm will have an added advantage.
Other Essential Attributes and Skills
- Through knowledge of agronomical practices of cultivated crops including fodder crops, grasses, trees etc. Knowledge of Fodder seed production, processing, treating, packing & testing; Farm equipment required for seedbed preparation, irrigation, harvesting and pick-up devices; Computer application.
- Management of fodder farm including procurement of inputs, labour management, and data recording.
- Working languages: Hindi, English & Gujarati.
Duration –
- The traineeship position is for a period of one year.
