NOTICE FOR INVITING APPLICATIONS FROM ELIGIBLE
STUDENTS TO IMPART INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN THE
VACCINE PRODUCTION AND ITS ALLIED AREAS

Pasteur Institute of India (PII), Coonoor is a pioneer Institute involved in the production of Anti Rabies and the DPT group of Vaccines. It is functioning as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.

PII, Coonoor is inviting curriculum vitae from the eligible students for the following disciplines to work as an Intern in this Institute for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of two years in the various functional departments of Vaccine Production and its allied areas.

1. B.Tech. Biotechnology/Industrial Microbiology/Industrial Biotechnology
2. B.Pharm.,/M.Pharm., Biotechnology/Formulation
3. M.Sc., Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ Biochemistry, Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Immunology/ Medical Microbiology/ Industrial Microbiology/ Pharmacology/ Medical Biochemistry/Zoology and other relevant degrees
4. B.E., or B.Tech. Mechanical /Electrical / Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation/ Biomedical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Pharmaceutical Engineering/ IT /Computer Science/Industrial Safety (any other equivalent degree)
5. M.H.R.M., M.A. (HR), M.Com., M.B.A., Human Resource/Material Management

• The candidates who have scored 70% or 7 OGPA / CGPA and above shall apply for this position. Below 70% or 7, OGPA/CGPA will not be considered.
• Candidates who have completed their courses in the academic year 2021– 2022 are only eligible and forward their curriculum vitae to this Institute.
• Curriculum vitae shall contain (i) Name (ii) Date of Birth (iii) Educational Qualifications, Name of the Institution, Maximum marks, marks obtained and percentage of marks (iv) Permanent & Communication Address with Contact Number (v) Aadhaar Number (vi) Email address and (vii) any other relevant information.
• The stipend is Rs.12000/- per month in the first year and Rs.15000/- per month in the second year.
• The selected interns should submit an undertaking declaring that he/she will serve for the Institute as an Intern for a minimum period of one year and he/she cannot quit in between and he/she will not disclose any confidential matter of this Institute at any time during their subsequent career.
• The candidates are strictly informed to forward the curriculum vitae, to the following address, in the form of hardcopy. The electronic form of curriculum vitae is summarily rejected.

• The shortlisted candidates have to appear for their written examination and personal discussion on their own. No TA, DA and Accommodation will be provided to the candidates by this Institute.
• The selection will be based on the academic score in the ratio of 1:10 for the written examination and 1:3 for the personal discussion.
• The venue for the written exam and personal discussion will be intimated later. Candidates are informed to keep watch on the Institute’s website, for any updates.
• The candidate should not claim any permanent position in this Institute.
• The Interns shall adhere to the rules, terms and conditions of PII, Coonoor from time to time without fail or any deviations and shall enter into an agreement.
