Applications are invited for the following posts in the ICMR project entitled “A research cum
intervention multi-centric study to strengthen National TB Elimination Programme
(NTEP) by implementing programme guidelines for TB using novel strategies to address
the various challenges faced by the programme in selected states and specific
population/communities In India”. under Dr. Sonam Spalgais, Dept, of Pulmonary Medicine, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute University of Delhi, Delhi 110007 latest by the 4th October 2022. The applications should be submitted in Room no I, VCH Block, VP Chest institute between 9:00 AM -5:00 PM (Monday to Friday). The interviews will be conducted for each post as per the schedule given below:
Post I
Name of Post: Research Associate
No. of Post: 01
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Remuneration: Rs 59,690/- (47000+27% HRA)
Essential Qualification: PhD in anthropology/ Life Science or
equivalent degree or having 3 years of research experience after M Sc/ MTech from a recognized University with at least one research paper.Desirable Qualification: Experience working in the microbiology lab.
Post II
Name of Post: SRF
No. of Post: 02
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Remuneration: Rs 44,450/- (35000+27% HRA)
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology from a recognized University with 2 years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification: Experience working in a microbiology lab.
Post III
Name of Post: Research Assistant
No. of Post: 01
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
Remuneration: Rs 31,000 per month (fixed)
Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in life science with three years of experience from a recognised institute. or a Master’s degree in life sciences.
All the eligible candidates shall be informed about the interview by email. Candidates should appear for the interview as per the above schedule with complete bio-data along with self-attested copies of certificates in Pantail Memorial Golden Jubilee Auditorium, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110007. The appointment shall be purely for the period of one and a half years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
