APPLICATION FOR PROJECT STAFF POSITIONS
The following staff positions are available under the “Centre of Advance Research and Excellence CARE on Kidney Diseases- Biomarkers & newer therapeutic” funded by ICMR, New Delhi to Dr. Swasti Tiwari.
These posts are entirely temporary. Project duration is 2 years/ initial appointment will be given for one year and could be renewed on yearly basis subject to his/her performance. The post can also be terminated with one month’s notice from either side. No Accommodation will be provided.
Post I
Name of Post – Junior Research Fellow
No.of Position– 01
Age limit – 28 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be as per Govt. of India norms)
Emoluments – Salary@ 31,000+ 18%HRA =36,580
Essential Qualification –
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course Selected through a process described through any one of the following –
a) Scholars who are
selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET, including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.b) The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
OR
M.Sc./M.V.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree in life sciences (zoology/Biotechnology/Biology) or Master’s degree in Social work/Sociology/Life sciences from a recognized University.
Desirable – Two years of research lab experience in the field of Molecular biology, Animal handling & Cell Biology.

Essential qualification – Masters in Biostatistics/ Health Statistics from a recognized University with 1-2 years of experience in Biostatistics and analyzing statistical software.
Desirable – M.Phil. Biostatistics/Population sciences
Nature of Duties – Responsibilities include arranging data and their statistical analysis and
interpretation.
