Candidates are invited to appear before the selection committee in the online interview for filling up the purely temporary position in the scheme of the “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under the supervision of Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:

How to Apply –
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is completely on a temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and the discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate
against the above post depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated at any time by giving a month’s notice by either side. Qualification –
Candidates having an M. Sc. Degree/M. Tech. degree in Bioinformatics throughout the first division or equivalent, and as per DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated July 10, 2020, are eligible to apply. Candidates must have experience in the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis during their Master’s dissertation, and that may be the criteria for shortlisting the candidates for interview.
