Advertisement for Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position
Applications are invited for two posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work in ICMR funded project, details are given below:
Name of the Position – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of vacancies – 02
Project Title – R7RGS-Gβ5 complex can be developed as a novel target to attenuate chemotherapeutic induced hypertrophy to heart failure transition through Nox-ROS-CaMKII-T tubule remodeling.
Age Limit –
The upper age limit for applying for the JRF shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates).
Tenure – The initial appointment will be for one year extendable based on performance.
Emoluments – ₹31,000/- per month+16% HRA = ₹35,960/-
Essential Qualifications –
Post graduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in the professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
b. The Selection process is through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable – Experience Research experience (academic) in physiology and molecular biology.
