Interview for Project Assistant position

Duration – 4 months, extendable further for the duration of the project based on evaluation of performance.

Essential Qualifications –
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / related field, with a minimum of 70% marks or equivalent grade with some animal handling experience. The candidate is expected to show a strong work ethic, meticulous record keeping and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications –
- Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology and laboratory techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, western blotting, microtomy etc. are preferred.
- Basic computational skills such as working knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point) is needed.
