Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling the following positions at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, against the DBT-NIH-funded Indo-US project entitled “Development of Novel Adjuvanted Vaccine for Foot and Mouth Disease.” PI and Project Coordinator: Dr. Syed M. Faisal, NIAB Co-PIs-Dr. Aniket Saniyal, IVRI, Bengaluru, and Dr. Dennis Carson, University of California, San Diego, USA.

Candidates meeting the essential and relevant criteria with a good CV will be shortlisted and called for an interview through video conferencing. No need to send the hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
For Post I
Eligibility – Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in the professional course having NET/GATE or selected through a national level examination conducted by DBT/DST/MHRD/ICMR/IIT/IISC/IISER. The candidate should have a minimum two-year research experience, preferably asJRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OMNo. SR/S9/Z09/2012 dated 21.10.2014 and SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). However, Non-NET candidates can also apply and will be paid as per their eligibility.
Experience – A candidate with experience in Immunological techniques, Adjuvant formulations and testing, and animal (mice, goat) handling is desirable. Candidates having prior experience in working on mechanisms of Vaccines/Adjuvant will be preferred.
Fellowship Amount – Rs.35000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
For Post II
Eligibility – Bachelor/Master of Science in Biology/Biotechnology or relevant discipline.
Experience – A candidate with experience in molecular biology, immunology techniques, and animal (mice, goat) handling is desirable. Candidates with experience working as technical staff in a research laboratory will be preferred.
Fellowship Amount – Rs.20000 + 24% HRA (If applicable).
