Location – Anand, Gujarat and the candidate should be willing to work anywhere in India.
Age Limit – Candidates above 30 years of age as on 01 August 2022 need not apply.
Profile Summary – DNA biobanking, microarray genotyping, downstream processing and quality assurance. Whole genome data analysis, technical documentation.
Key Roles & Responsibility –
- DNA extraction and biobanking
- Microarray genotyping
- Ensure proper protocols for data acquisition, safety and usage are adopted
- Genomic data analysis – Microarray and Whole genome sequence data
- Technical writing
Qualification & Experience –
- M.Sc (any branch of life sciences) with a Minimum of 1 year of work experience. Or
- Min. 4-year degree in Biological sciences/ Bioinformatics/Biotechnology with a Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Other Essential Attributes and Skills
Technical skills/attributes:
- Experience/awareness of working in a laboratory
- Documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good Knowledge of working on Linux system
- Good Knowledge of computer languages like Python, R and other Whole genome analysis bioinformatic tools
- Technical writing skills – Evident by research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
General skills/attributes:

Attitude for team-work.
Duration & Salary –
- The traineeship position is for a period of three years.
- The candidate shall be paid monthly contractual consideration of Rs 43,200/- (including PF)
