Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Lab Technician (LT) in the following CCRAS-funded project in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicine, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070, India.

Name of the Post – Lab Technician

Name of the Project – “Study the physiological basis and gut bacterial modulations induced by Virechana (Purgation therapy) in healthy adults: A prospective longitudinal study”
Age Limit – Below 50 years, relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates as per
Government of India rules.Duration – 3 years (initial appointment will be only for 1 year which will be extended based on performance)

For Post I
Essential – 1st class M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany etc from a recognized university along with NET/GATE or any other equivalent National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc with a minimum of 2 years of research experience.
Desirable – Experience in hospital-based clinical research.
Monthly Remuneration – Rs. 35000/- + HRA
For Post II
Essential – 1st class B.Sc (preferably in life sciences/biochemistry/microbiology) and /or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques (DMLT) from a recognized university with a minimum of 2 years of experience of working in a laboratory should apply.
Desirable – Experience with working on stool samples for microbial analysis.
Monthly Remuneration – Rs. 18000/- consolidated
