Job Overview

For Sartorius Stedim India Pvt. Ltd., We are looking for Validation Service Laboratory Professional to join our team in Bangalore. This role will be responsible for performing microbiological, physical and chemical tests of Confidence® Validation Services projects on behalf of biopharma industry customers with a focus on filter validation.

What you will certainly accomplish along with us

• Coordinate and execute microbiological, physical and chemical filter validation activities (Confidence® Validation Services projects) based on validation protocol and SOPs according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and under consideration of GMP principles as applicable
• Perform Viability, Bacterial Challenge, Product Specific Integrity and Chemical Compatibility tests according to Sartorius SOPs and approved validation protocols
• Perform in-coming material testing, Prepare strains, culture media, test solutions and reagents necessary for the performance of all laboratory tests
• Perform growth promotion test, air monitoring of laboratory, media preparation, temperature trend preparations etc
• Handling of Biological Indicators, cultures, chemicals and test solutions according to government regulations and company SOPs
• Retrieve the corresponding test template from the system and fill accordingly. Complete lab data form, interpret results and review
• Perform data analysis using the Microsoft tools and as necessary support in the digitalization activities related to Validation Services
• Check daily monitoring data of lab environment and temperature-controlled equipment
• Perform inventory control of consumables, and standard reagents to ensure the safety of stock.

What will convince us

• B. Tech Biotechnology or Master’s degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology or Postgraduate qualification in a related field.
• 2-6 years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry, biopharma, or a contract manufacturer. Knowledge of sterilizing grade filtration concept will add to the advantage.
• Good understanding of GDP, GMP and QMS requirements
• Have knowledge of analytical testing procedures like microbiology tests (growth promotion tests, media preparation.), awareness of calibration /qualification activities for equipment/instruments like autoclave, weighing balance, incubators etc., knowledge on sterilizing grade filters application etc. – Pharma / Biopharma and good awareness on the principles of operation of common microbiology laboratory equipment’s
• Knowledge of data analytics tools like R or Python, Microsoft analytics and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau will be of additional advantage
• Experience with digital tools like laboratory LIMS or other related tools.
