Applications are invited from talented and passionate candidates to work on multi-omics approach in various genetic disorders and pursue their Ph.D. at the Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB) in Bangalore (http://www.ibioinformatics.org). The selected candidates will be enrolled for their Ph.D. at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal.

Qualifications –
- M.Sc/M.Tech in any discipline of Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks secured. Candidates with at least two years research experience in molecular biology experiments and mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques are preferred Or freshers who have secured fellowships from the State/Central Government agencies such as CSIR-NET/DBT-BET/ICMR-JRF/UGC-NET/GATE and DST-INSPIRE can apply.

Qualifications –
- M.Sc/M.Tech in Bioinformatics with minimum 60% marks secured. Candidates with experience in using Linux operating system and writing programs in Python/Perl/R are required. Candidates with experience in PHP or other web technologies, MySQL, statistics and NGS data analysis are preferred.
Note – Students who are interested in doing internship can also apply. Limited seats available.
