VACANCY NOTIFICATION FOR CONTRACTUAL POST
Online applications are invited in the prescribed format up to 5:00 PM by 24th June 2022 for filling up the following temporary posts in the ICMR funded project entitled ‘Chronic stool shedding’ blood antigenemia, and identification of novel biomarkers as predictors for development of MIS-C in children aged 0-19 years exposed to SARS CoV2 infection – A prospective Cohort Study’ on a contractual basis for a period of 18 months, at ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, as per the details provided below. After a screening of applications, only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview. The posts are purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project

General Terms & Conditions –
- ICMR-National Institute of Pathology reserves the right to shortlist the candidates in case of receipt of a large number of applications.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail regarding the date and time of the interview.
- All candidates must bring their CV, original certificates, letter of recommendation, and one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates.
- Candidates who are already working elsewhere should provide a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their current employer at the time of the interview.
- Submission of any incorrect or false information during the process shall disqualify, the
candidature. - No hostel facility will be provided during the tenure and course of the project.
- No TA/DA will be paid on the day of attending the interview.
- The selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or continuation of his, her services in any other project.
- The decision of the selection committee will be considered final in this regard. Canvassing in any form will be considered a disqualification.
Salary – Rs. 31,000 /- plus 27 percent HRA
Essential qualification – Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences or Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following –
a) Scholars who are selected through the National Eligibility Tests (NET)
b) The selection process at the National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
Desirable – Carrying out laboratory procedures – RT PCR, ELISA. Experience and willingness of working in a laboratory with patient samples will be preferred. Knowledge of computer MS-office, Ms-excel, MSPower point will be an added advantage
