An offline interview is scheduled on 23/05/2022 from 11.00 AM onwards for the selection of 01 (one) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I (PA) in the Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi in a SERB sponsored research project

Name of the Project – “Phytoremediation of cadmium contaminated soil using two bioenergy plant Jatropha curcas and Chrysopogon zizaniodies in presence of nanofertilizers”
Age – The upper age limit of JRF/PA-1 is 28 years as of the day of the interview. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
Nature of the post – The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
How to Apply –
Interested candidates may appear before the interview board, subject to submission of self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificate of NET, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) to be verified by the Selection Committee. An advance copy of their CV along with the said documents may be sent to Dr. Kuldeep Bauddh, Principal Investigator (PI) via e-mail to [email protected] on or before 20/05/2022.
Notes –
(1) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer.
(3) Only one position is available either JRF or Project Assistant-1 (PA-1) as per the criteria of project.

Essential qualifications – M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Science/ Botany with 55% aggregates marks and above from recognized university with NET qualified
in a relevant subject.
Emoluments – Rs. 31,000/- +16% HRA per month for first 2 years and Rs.35,000/- HRA (as per norms)per month for 3rd year.
For Post II
Essential qualifications – M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Science/ Botany with 55% aggregates marks and above from recognized university.
Emoluments – Rs. 25,000/- +16% HRA per month for first 2 years and Rs.28,000/- HRA (as per norms) per month for 3rd year.
