WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Guwahati to
engage one Laboratory Technician for the project “Toxicity Studies & Evaluation of Antiinflammatory and Antiarthritic Activity of Shunthi Guggulu (Triphala sodhita) in rats” on
contract basis as per the details given below.

Age limit – Not exceeding 27 years as of the date of interview. (Relaxation as per Govt. of India rules).

How to Apply –

Interested candidates fulfilling the qualifications prescribed above may appear in the
walk-in-interview to the held on 24th May 2022 from 10.00 A.M. at CARI, Guwahati with a duly filled application form along with a self-attested Xerox copy of the necessary certificate with original documents and two

recent passport size photographs. The candidates reporting for walk-in-interview after 10.30 A.M. shall not be allowed.

General condition –

1. The above post will be filled up initially for a period of six months which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority and their engagement will be co-terminus.
2. The engagement of the above post will be purely on a contractual basis & with no right to claim for continuation or regular appointment.
3. The above advertisement may also be seen and the format for submission of  Application/Bio-data may be downloaded from Council’s website www.ccras.nic.in
4. The original documents along with a set of Xerox copies of documents and passport
   photographs have to be produced before the selection committee of the Institute at the
   time of Interview.
5. The age limit of the candidates shall be determined on the date of the interview. Relaxation in age limit in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per Govt. of India rules.
6. No T NDA will be admissible for attending the written test/ Interview.
7. The selection committee has the right to select or reject the application of the candidate.
8. The selected candidate will have to submit an undertaking along with the joining report
   at the time of their joining.
9. Assistant Director, In-Charge, CARI, Guwahati reserves the right to postpone or eel
   the test and interview, without assigning any reason thereof.

• Venue – Conference Hall of the Institute.

Remuneration – 24,000/- (Consolidated)

Essential –

1. Bachelor in Science with BioChemistry/ Zoology/Micro-biology as one of the subjects from a recognized University/Institute.
2. One year of experience in a relevant laboratory or field.

Desirable – A candidate with higher qualifications and relevant experience Will be preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree in a relevant subject shall be exempted from the condition of experience.
