Name of the Project – “Mechanotransduction in retinal pigmented epithelium homeostasis: Implications in age-related macular degeneration”

Funding Agency – SERB

Required Qualification –

Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/ Post Graduate degree in Professional Course selected through a process prescribed through any one of the following –

• a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
• b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. (as per the SERB Notification No. SB/S9/Z- 06/2019 dated 23.04.2019)

Fellowship – Selected candidates will be paid fellowship INR. 31,000 + 16% HRA (35,960 p.m) for two years and will be promoted to SRF scale for third year as per the SERB norms.
