Name of the Project – “Investigation of dependence of cytotoxicity of caspase-cleaved TDP-25, TDP-35 and alternate spliced TDP-43-S1 and TDP-43-S-2 fragments of TDP-43 on the IRE1 pathway of the ER stress response mechanism in the TDP-43 proteinopathy models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis disease”.
Duration of employment – The position is purely temporary and is initially for a period of 1 year and can be renewed depending on the performance of the JRF up to the duration of the project i.e. 3 years subject to availability of funds.
Age limit – 35 years

Selection Process – Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview, the details of which will be communicated to them in advance. Shortlisting criteria can be more stringent than the eligibility criteria depending upon the number of applications received.
Minimum educational qualification – M.Tech in Biotechnology or an allied subject or Msc. in Biotechnology or an allied subject with a GATE score or B.Tech in Biotechnology or an allied subject with a GATE score.
Emoluments – Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA
