GATE Life Science Test Series 2022 Schedule Launched
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The GATE score is required to seek admission or financial assistance for Postgraduate Programs with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships.
The GATE Exam is conducted in 27 disciplines, and the GATE Life Sciences(XL) is the paper dedicated to Life science candidates. Students appearing for the GATE XL exam are expected to answer 3 Papers, Chemistry being compulsory, and the two Optional can be chosen from- Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Food technology.

What does AIMGATE XL 2022 ( GATE Life Science Test Series) Covers:
- Compulsory Chemistry Paper
- Aspirants can choose the other two Optional Subjects of their choice
- Each subject contains 10-14 Topic-based tests
- Total Marks for each paper- 85 Marks
- Time Allotted for each Test- 90 Mins
Negative Marking:
- For 1-mark MCQs: 1/3rd mark will be deducted
- For 2-mark MCQs: 2/3rd mark will be deducted
- Numerical answer type question: No negative marking
