CONTRACTUAL STAFF RECRUITMENT
FOR NATIONAL REFERENCE LABORATORY

National Tuberculosis Institute (NTI), a Government of India Organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare invites applications for appointment of the following posts on a Contractual basis at National Reference Laboratory, NTI, Bengaluru for a period of one year.

Name of the Post: Senior Laboratory Technician

No. of Posts: 02

Duration: One year

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.

• Candidates will have to produce a certificate as per GOI format for reservation
• Age relaxation is applicable as per GOI norms.

Consolidated Salary: 25,000 per month.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with or without DMLT.

Essential Experience: Three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.

OR

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Life sciences with or without DMLT.

Essential Experience: Five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.

Nature of Duties:

• To perform C-DST, panel testing,
• Prepare culture and DNA banks.
• Assisting microbiologists and biotechnologists during on-site visits.
• To perform Data Entry in NIKSHAY and LIMS.
• Facilitate laboratory training program.
• Any other tasks assigned as per program needs.
