Online interview for Indian Nationals to work as Project Assistant in a research project funded by SERB, Govt. of India
Name of the Post: Project Assistant
Title: “Using Drosophila as a platform to understand the effect of the inhibitors of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) on myeloid cells ”
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: 1 year (extendable up to 1.5 additional years after evaluation and as per the availability of funds)

Selection process: Based on essential qualifications supported by the necessary documents and prior work experience
(as mentioned above), only the shortlisted candidates will be informed via email about the online interview details.Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. (First class) in any branch of Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications: Prior research experience/hands-on training on routine cell line and Drosophila techniques (regular stock maintenance and generating recombinant lines with RNAi, CRISPR and Cas9 transgenics, dissection of larval and adult tissues and immunostaining) is mandatory. Exposure to Recombinant DNA technology and enzymatic assays with efficiency in fluorescence and confocal microscopy along with FACS is desirable.
Emoluments: As per DST norms and as sanctioned in the project.
