POSITION FOR ONE POST OF PROJECT ASSISTANT

Applications are invited by the undersigned from the eligible candidates for ONE post of
Project Assistant, in the following research project sponsored by Central Silk Board,
Government of India, in this Institute

Name of the Project: “Studies on the regeneration of silk filaments from silk waste
material and its application” [Project Code: BPC07022]

Tenure of the project: Sep. 2021 to February 2024/ till completion of the project / whichever is earlier.

Eligible candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the time and venue given below with bio-data, a passport size photograph, originals and one copy of each of educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC/Higher secondary, B. Sc. M. Sc. etc., along with

proof of date of birth, experience certificate and caste certificate for SC/ST candidates, valid e-mail Id and telephone/mobile numbers and contact details.

1. Date of the walk-in-interview: 24-09-2021
2. Time: 10.30 AM (Candidates should reach the venue by 10 AM for verification of
   documents).
3. Entry of candidates will be permitted only till 12 Noon.
4. Venue: CENTRAL SERICULTURAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING INSTITUTE MANANDAVADI ROAD, SRI RAM PURA, MYSORE-570 008.
5. Upper age limit: 28 years as of 01/03/2021 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically challenged and women candidates).
6. No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
7. The above-mentioned position is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
8. Canvassing in any form will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
9. The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects.
10. Incomplete applications will summarily be rejected.

Emoluments: Rs. 12000/- consolidated

Essential Qualification: B.Sc.,/M. Sc. in life sciences/Biotechnology with first class
[equivalent to 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)

Desirable: Knowledge in molecular biology experiments, data recording and computer basics.
