Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant with the main focus on the realization and evaluation of database tests to strengthen our Content & Innovation Team. According to this task, we are looking for a QA assistant who is able to work together with a Quality
Assurance expert in a team to complete the following tasks:
- Evaluate and improve existing (semi)-automated database tests
- Perform manual tests of a database-driven web application based on prepared test plans
- Document test results and improvements in a team collaboration software
- Document and verify errors and bugs in a bug tracking tool (e.g. JIRA)
Your profile:
- Background in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences or similar preferable
- Fresh graduate from university or work experience less than 1 or 2 years
- Cooperative, service-minded and pro-active approach to working with colleagues inside and outside the department
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)
- Experience with Life Science databases (e.g. Reaxys) is a plus
- Programming skills (Perl, Python, SQL) are a plus.
