Recruitment of student interns for a period of two months

Name of the Project: “Utilizing germplasm diversity of climate resilient crop pearl millet for identification and mapping of heat stress responsive gene(s) and functional
annotation of transcriptome adaptation to seedling heat stress’’
Duration: 2 months only

Terms & Conditions:
- The internships are only for a duration of two months and will end after the completion of two months from the date of joining.
- The internship is just for two months. No other claim will be made by the student.
- The interested students are requested to send their duly signed application (in the given format) along with their certificates/mark sheets and other relevant documents strictly through email only at [email protected] on or before August 18, 2021. No hard copy will be entertained.
- Shortlisted students will be informed and called for an online interview.
- Once selected the student has to provide a No Objection Certificate from their present institute to be able to attend the Lab activities for a period of two months.
- The selected student has to make their own arrangements for attending the day to day activities at designated Labs at IARI. No TA, DA will be provided for the same.
- Concealing off facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
Emoluments (Fixed per month): 5000
Essential: Students pursuing Master’s in Life Sciences/ Agriculture with specialization in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology with 60 percent marks in 10th, 12th and graduate level.
Desirable: Experience in molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills.
