Name of the Position: Project Assistant

The number of posts: Up to two posts (preferably for a candidate with experience in molecular biology, microbiology, bacteriology).

Name of the Project: Conflict between replication and transcription drives mutagenesis and antibiotic resistance

Funding Agency: DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance

Tenure of the post: 1-year (renewable upon satisfactory performance)

Age Max: Preferably not above 30

Fellowship amount: Rs. 20,000

Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the financing agency):

Master of Science (M.Sc.) in any field of biological sciences including bioinformatics.

Preference: Strong theoretical and experimental background in Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics.
