Eligible and interested candidates may send their Online application in the prescribed format given with this advertisement for engagement as Project Associate-I (1 post) on a purely temporary basis under the CSIR Aroma Mission project tenable at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru. The details are given below:

Mode of Selection: Selection will be done on the basis of an Online interview through MS Team. The last date for receipt of online applications is 19.7.2021, 5.30 PM in the prescribed format only given with this Advertisement. After receipt of online applications only screened candidates will be

called by e-mail for MS-TEAM online interview.

How to Apply:

1. Engagement will certainly be originally for a period of one year, and also may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and also desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
2. The period of project staff shall be co-terminated with the project. However, under no circumstances the period would be allowed to exceed a five-year duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that any kind of one not found up to the mark, could be ended.
3. The position is just short-term as well as, consequently, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any type of post in CSIR-CIMAP.
4. The upper age limit as mentioned above will certainly be as on (last date of receipt of online application) which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/persons with disabilities as well as OBC applicants.
5. Special age relation in case of Widows, Divorced women as well as women judicially separated from their husbands, that are not remarried based on guidelines.
6. In conclusion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to make an application for engagement in an additional project, he/she will need to go with the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the brand-new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made just after submission of resignation and also “No Demand Certification” in the previous project.
7. The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility, as per rules.
8. Final semester and result awaited candidates will not be enabled to appear for interview.

Stipend per month: Rs.31,000/- plus HRA for UGC CSIR- NET/NET-LS/GATE qualified candidate OR Rs.25,000/- plus HRA for others

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Botany.

Desirable: Working experience in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/tissue culture techniques.
