ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CONTRACT STAFF – SPECIFIC FOR COVID-19 TESTING

ICMR-RMRIMS, Patna invites application from eligible applicants for the following posts on a purely contractual basis particularly for COVID-19 testing up to 31st July 2021 or till the COVID-19 surge curve falls down, whichever is earlier:

Post I

How to Apply:

The interested candidates may turn up for walk-in-interview in addition to their duly signed application mentioning personal details (1) Name (2) Father’s Name (3) Date of Birth (4) Details of Qualification (S) Work Experience (6) Present Address for Communication etc. with a passport size photo together with copies

of all pertinent documents at the time of walk-in-interview. Applicants have also to bring all the above-mentioned documents in original for necessary verification during the walk-in-interview. Walk-in-Interview is scheduled to be held on 21/05/2021 at 10:00 AM. For Contract Information Technology Support, candidates will certainly be present for the skill test on 20/05/2021 up to 10:00 AM along with the duly signed application as well as selected applicants as per merit list will certainly be called for interview on 21/05/2021 at 10:00 AM.

VENUE AT THE INTERVIEW/SKILL TEST AT ICMR-RMRIMS, AGAMKUAN, PATNA – 800 007 (BIHAR)

Note:

1. The applicants will have to report for a walk-in interview dated 21/05/2021 latest up to 10:00 AM.
2. If the number of candidates will certainly exceed more than 10 written exams can be conducted if required.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Age relaxation: (1) Age relaxation to the applicants having essential qualification can be given up to a maximum of 5 years that consists of a) 5 years for SC/ST applicant, b) 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy) applicants, as well as c) length of lab experience in ICMR Institute/Centre or any other recognized Institutions. (2) Age can be relaxed to the maximum of 5 years or the completed month/year of their earlier project service, whichever is less.
5. Preference shall be given who are working in COVID-19 testing.
6. The appointment will certainly be totally on a short-term basis (on a contractual basis) up to 31st July 2021 or till the COVID-19 surge curve falls down, whichever is earlier.
7. Candidates will have no claim in future for employment under the Institute/ICMR services.
8. During the appointment. if performance of the appointee is. not found satisfactory by the competent authority, the appointment can be ended at any time without any notification.
9. The decision of the Director, ICMR-RMRIMS, Agamkuan, Patna will be final.

For Post I 

Salary: Rs. 48,000

Essential Qualification: Professional having M. Sc./B. Tech/ M. Tech/MBA/MBBS qualifications in relevant subject with R & D experience and published papers.

Desirable Qualification: PhD experience in RT-PCR & data reporting.

Job Requirement: COVID-19 lab work including supervision & monitoring of sample receipt, testing, data management and reporting.

For Post II

Salary: Rs. 32,000

Essential Qualification: Graduate in Life Science subjects relevant to the present need, with five years of work experience or Postgraduate Degree in those subjects.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in RT-PCR.

Job Requirement: COVID-19 testing and data management.
