ONLINE – INTERVIEW for engagement of Project Personnel on Contract
The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun welcomes application for Online Interview for
engagement of Senior Research Biologist for the Preparation of Haryana State
Biodiversity Strategy as well as Action Plan (HR-SBSAP) Project purely on contractual
basis.

Position: Senior Research Biologist
No of Posts: 02
Duration: Ten (10) months
Location of Project sites: Haryana
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as of the date of interview. The upper age limit in the case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.

- The candidates are required to submit their duly filled-in application form in PDF format with self-attested true copies of DOB Certification, copies of all needed educational qualification certificates/mark sheets (Graduation & Post Graduation), experience certificates by e-mail to [email protected] on or before 20th April 2021. If any one of these above-mentioned documents is incomplete, then it will certainly not be considered.
- The applications received after the due date will not be taken into consideration.
- The shortlisted candidates will be informed via email/WII web site notification for an online interview, which will be held on 23rd April 2021 from 1000 hrs onward. The selection will be made based on the recommendation of the Interview Panel. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of joining for necessary verification.
- At the time of verification of original documents, if it is found that an attempt has been made by the applicant to willfully conceal, misrepresent or canvass the facts, his/her candidature will certainly not be taken into consideration.
- After the announcement of the results, the applicant should join the project immediately.
- The tenure in the project will be governed by the Institute’s guidelines and also regulations.

The Director WII reserves the right to reject any type of candidature in view of incomplete.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. with 60 per cent in Wildlife Science/Life science/ Environmental Science/Social Science and three years experience in the pertinent subject.
Desirable Qualification: Field experience of conducting a workshop with the community/ stakeholders and knowledge of preparation of project reports and also action plan.
Work Description: Preparation of Haryana State Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan.
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- per month (Consolidated)
