Applications are welcomed from interested as well as qualified applicants for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Junior Project Fellow (JPF) for a duration of 6 months for the project “ASSESSMENT OF AMPHIBIAN DIVERSITY OF CENTRAL INDIA AND IDENTIFICATION OF CRYPTIC SPECIES USING INTEGRATIVE TAXONOMIC APPROACH” funded by SERB, DST, New Delhi.

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- plus 16% HRA (NET/GATE qualified) per month. In the case of Non-NET qualified, the fellowship of Rs.20000/- plus 16% HRA per month will be provided.
Essential qualification: M.Sc in Zoology any type of branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in M.Sc. from a recognized Indian university.
Desirable qualifications: Highly motivated applicants having experience in taxonomy/ ecological studies of amphibians with basic knowledge on DNA isolation and also photography are required for the post. The applicant must be physically fit to work in the field.
