DURATION: Originally for a duration of one year and extendable up to three years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier based upon performance evaluation on annual basis.
Selection Procedure:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must have secured first class in all their qualifying examinations. Post Graduate Degree in Biological Sciences is mandatory.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant who have actually qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET consisting of Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments as well as their Agencies as well as Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship are favoured.
