Conditions for NII Vacancy:
- The candidates chosen for the above posts will be on contract for a single year or length of the project whichever is shorter, at a moment.
- No hostel/ home centre will be supplied.
- Applicants may clearly mention the class they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary evidence of exactly the same.
- No TA/DA is going to be compensated for attending the interview if called for.
- Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates
should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees.

Qualification for NII Vacancy: PhD in life sciences ideally in Immunology with a good academic record. The applicant needs to have demonstrated ability in regards to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Job description & Desired Knowledge: The selected candidate is expected to work on cutting-edge human T-cell immunology for dengue vaccine development. A lot of the work will use PBMCs and also serum as the sample from dengue patients enrolled on this study.
Interested applicant ought to have demonstrated abilities in clinical immunology research.
- Hands-on experience in handling clinical samples, flow Cytometry, Cell sorting using
magnetic columns as well as FACS, human primary cell culture, PBMC handling, cloning RNA isolation, as well as quantitative real-time PCR, is essential.
Applicants with proven experience in the human immunology research of Vaccines or virus
the infection will be favoured.
Emoluments for NII Vacancy: The chosen applicants will certainly draw consolidated emoluments according to Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience.
