Application are invited from qualified candidates for filling up the below mentioned Group ‘C’ posts in the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration, ‘Dhanwantari’ opp. Shrine of Holy Cross, Bambolim, Goa on or prior to 17/03/2021.

Prescribed Form, at the office of this Directorate at “Dhanwantari” Directorate of Food & Drugs Admn., Opp. The Shrine of Holy Cross, Bambolim– Goa. 403 202, from 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 pm and also 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm on all working days with effect

from 01/03/2021 till 24/03/2021. The prescribed form will be available on the official web site of this Directorate www.dfda.goa.gov.in.

2. Find a detailed advertisement of all the posts/vacancies containing the terms and conditions along with the Proforma of Application, documents required as well as the instructions can be downloaded by clicking on the web link “VACANCIES IN THE DIRECTORATE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ADMINISTRATION” Read it and check Eligibility and then fill the form correctly.
3. The generated hard copy of the application filled out with the necessary details and also affixed with his/her recent self attested passport size photo on the space provided and also duly signed at the end of the application shall be submitted by hand delivery/through postal delivery in the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration from 01/03/2021 to 24/03/2021 in between 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. as well as 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. on all working day. The applications in any form received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
4. Only the eligible candidates fulfilling the criteria as per recruitment rules/advertisement will apply and the applicants need not furnish any documents at the time of applying for the post. Nonetheless, the candidature of a shortlisted candidate will not be considered, if he/she is found ineligible at the time of verification of essential documents, even though he/she has passed the exam.
5. The only application will be accepted with a declaration from candidates stating that” the contents of the application are true to his/her own knowledge and also he/she possess the requisite qualification and other obligatory documents for the post. 6. The qualified applicants will certainly have to clear written examination; syllabus for the same will be made available on the official web site www.dfda.goa.gov.in. 7. The total marks of the written examination will be 100 as well as the duration of the examination will be 2 hrs.
8. The selection of the candidates will be determined based on the marks obtained by each candidate in the written exam according to merit. The entire result will be published on the notice board of the Department, along with on the portal www.goa.gov.in. and www.dfda.goa.gov.in.
9. 10. Applicants making an application for the post need to possess 15 years of continuous residence in the State of Goa issued by the Mamlatdar, except for the following categories:-

    ♦ A person whose marriage is registered in Goa, with the person having fifteen years of residence in Goa, as well as both, are residing in the State of Goa continuously for a period of 5 years.
    ♦ Ex-servicemen/women as well as their spouse and children, who are residing in Goa for the last 2 years after discharge/release/retirement from the armed forces.

    qualifications/criteria prescribed for the above posts with the valid certificates of qualification, computer literacy certificate, as applicable, experience certificate, 15 years Residential certificate, Valid Employment Card, Birth Certification, Caste/Differentlyabled Certification issued by Competent Authorities.
15. No TA/DA will certainly be paid either for appearing for a written test or joining the post.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

1. (i) A Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University or
   (ii) Any other equivalent/ recognized qualification notified by the Central Government, and.
   Note: Chosen applicant will certainly have to successfully complete training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized Institute or Institution approved for the purpose.
2. Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Name of Post: Assistant Chemist (Food)

The scale of Pay: Level 5 of Pay of 7th CPC Rs.29,200/- plus allowances as applicable.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Biochemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Drugs from a University established in India by Law or is an Associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by exam in the section of Food Analysis conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) or has an equal qualification recognized as well as notified by the Central Government for such purposes; as well as.
2. Not less than one year of experience in the analysis of food or liquor or drugs by utilizing sophisticated instruments like UV, Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatography, etc. in a reputed organization Or
3. (i) Degree in Science with Biochemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and also Drugs from a University established in India by law or has an equivalent qualification recognized and also notified by the Central Government for such purposes; and (ii) Not less than three years experience after Graduation in the analysis or Food or Liquor or drugs by utilizing sophisticated instruments like UV Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatography, etc. in a reputed organization.
4. Knowledge of Konkani.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

1. Grad in Science with Microbiology of a University established in India by Law or has an equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Government for such purposes; and also.
2. Not less than 3 years’ experience in the analysis of drugs in as reputed pharmaceutical manufacturing company including analysis of drugs by using equipment’s like UV Spectrophotometer, IR Spectrophotometer, High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, etc.
3. Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
