- Tenure of the Post: Initially one year, which can be curtailed or extended up to three years, based on candidate performance and funding support.

Qualifications
- Essential: M. Sc. / M. Tech. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks with NET/GATE qualification.
- Desirable: Candidates having experience of molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and structural biology will be preferred.
